Every trading platform sold to you today solves the same mis-stated problem. It pretends the friction is discovery — finding the next name, the next edge, the next winning basket — and then wraps that promise in a hosted dashboard, a cloud model, a subscription for the signals, and a second subscription for the execution. The edge is imaginary. The fees are not.
The actual friction is operator burden. Anyone serious about running a continuous strategy across stocks, crypto, prediction markets, and the racetrack spends most of their day doing the same four things: reading data, forming a thesis, placing the order, journaling the outcome. None of it requires a service provider to sit between you and the market. All of it benefits from a local, auditable machine you can look inside.
Harpy is what a trading terminal looks like when you refuse to sell it as a service.
What it is
Harpy is a set of desktop applications. You install the one for the market you want to trade, paste in the API keys you already have, and on first launch a blocking wizard sets up the scanner’s cadence on your machine — every 5 minutes for a position monitor, every hour for a deep research pass. The scanner writes its output to a private folder on your disk; a local dashboard reads it live in your browser.
Nothing in that chain is hosted by us. We don’t run your scanner, we don’t see your trades, we don’t hold your keys, and we don’t know when you sit down to look at it. The 31-day lease that gates each installer is validated offline, cryptographically, on your machine. You can pull the network cable and Harpy keeps running.
What it isn’t
- It’s not a broker. Every order gets placed against your existing exchange account.
- It’s not a signal service. There is no “pick of the day” emailed to you at 9:15 a.m.
- It’s not cloud-hosted inference. Everything runs on your hardware, through your own AI-research subscription.
- It’s not a wrapper around someone else’s black box. Every scanner rubric is a plain-text strategy document you can edit.
The seven modules
Each installer is leased independently for 31 days. A buyer of Harpy Trade does not have crypto, prediction-market, or racing tasks sitting dormant in their Task Scheduler; their machine literally only knows how to scan equities. The installers are:
- Trade — US equities via Alpaca.
- Crypto — 24/7 alt research via Kraken.
- Polymarket — on-chain prediction markets with a latency-arb engine.
- Kalshi — CFTC-regulated event contracts, US-only.
- Horses — UK / IRE / AU overlay scanning at the racetrack.
- Greyhounds — UK / IRE / AU / NZ trap-draw + running-style overlays.
- Paper — all seven surfaces unlocked, zero real money.
Invitations
We open invites in small batches. No landing-page growth hack, no affiliate marketing, no referral codes. Leave your email on the front page and we’ll reach out when a slot opens. If you don’t hear back immediately, it isn’t a rejection — it’s a waitlist.
In the next few posts we’ll walk through each module one at a time — what it does, what data it touches, what the output looks like, and where the edges and risks live.
